Get Connected

Iron Sharpens Iron...Proverbs 27:17

Growth, connection, and accountability—in relationships that last.

Our weekly men’s small groups and monthly huddles are designed to bring men into community to connect, open up about their struggles and shortcomings, and grow together. Whether in-person or online, each group is facilitated by a trained group leader from The Redeemed who helps maintain a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

“We aim high here at The Redeemed. We sincerely believe and know from personal experience that real change is possible in our lives … We’ve seen individual lives emerge from the darkness of addiction, adultery, and workaholism and move into the transformative light of connection, community, and soul rest.” (Formative Community, session 6)

Weekly Small Groups

Our weekly gatherings are centered on three important aspects: prayer support, genuine relationships, and biblical inspiration. These groups meet weekly and offer an ideal environment for developing deep connections and continuous personal development.

Monthly Huddles

Rooted in a biblical principle that emphasizes the importance of men supporting and improving each other through meaningful relationships; these monthly meetings involve breakfast (in-person), a brief teaching session, and small group discussions. Huddles will meet once monthly during the school year.

What Men Are Saying

What to Expect From Redeemed Small Groups

Our small groups meet weekly, with most groups meeting for a span of six, nine, or twelve weeks.

  • Groups focus on discussion, so you’ll have lots of opportunities to talk with other guys, getting to know and support each other.
  • Some small groups walk through a curriculum together, so you can read ahead if you want to think about questions in advance. Other small groups connect over insights from the podcast or a book.
  • We also take time to hear about each others’ lives and pray together during each meeting.
  • Leaders are there to listen, care for you, and help build community. They focus on facilitating discussion, not requiring answers to every question.

In addition to small groups, we also meet monthly at our in-person huddles. We hear from a guest speaker, get to know each other over breakfast, and break into small groups for discussion. Huddles currently meet only in the area of Columbus, GA, so if you’re nearby (or want to travel our way), you can find more information with our in-person small groups.

Note: Huddles are on a break for Summer. We will return in September 2025.

Need a focus for your small group?

For each episode of The Redeemed Man podcast, we publish a discussion guide designed to help individuals and groups engage more deeply with the week’s topics. You don’t need to be a pastor to lead, just a man chasing the heart of God through everyday conversation.

Get Equipped to Lead a Small Group

Small group leaders make a meaningful impact, but it starts with one decision: are you ready for a bigger role?

As a small group leader, you would take on a bigger responsibility in supporting other members of your group. So we see it as our job to support you with training, mentorship, and a community of fellow leaders.

Here are a few things we look for in our leaders:

  • At least several years of walking in faith
  • Strong relationship-building skills like communication, empathy, and conflict resolution
  • Time each week to plan your group’s focus, pray for and connect with members, and meet regularly with your group
