Leading a Group

What to expect as a leader with The Redeemed

Start Leading with The Redeemed

Through our small groups, we are working to provide a community where men ignite their potential through authentic connection, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences. Help build that community by signing up to lead groups.

Our small group leaders come from all walks of life, including education, corporate workplaces, construction, ministry, healthcare, the military, and first responders. They are single men, husbands, dads, and grandfathers, each bringing their unique experiences and gifts to the table. You don’t need a theology degree or a perfect schedule to lead — just a heart willing to serve and connect with others.

We are looking for men who love God and have a heart to help other men walk through the difficulties of live. We provide training and coaching along the way, as well as opportunities to support an experienced leader before leading your own group.

Learn in relationship to lead from relationship

The Redeemed believes our best leadership comes from strong relationships. As they build small group communities, our leaders are supported by a community of fellow leaders. We lift one another up for the glory of God and the good of our small group members.

How we support our leaders

  • Prayer. Our dedicated volunteer prayer team will keep leaders’ confidential requests in prayer.
  • Leaders-Only Groups. This leaders-only small group allows you to share experiences, ask questions, and grow together.
  • Coaching Program. One-on-one coaching allows you to both grow under the wisdom of experienced leaders and share what you’ve learned with those earlier on in their leadership journey.
  • Leadership Retreat. This event allows leaders to gather in person, enjoy fellowship, worship, and learn together.
  • Financial Incentives. We offer a small honorarium per group you lead, which scales depending on how long your group will run.

Platforms we use

Here are the digital platforms and tools we use to help our small groups run smoothly. They may already be familiar to you, and they’re easy to learn if not.

Zoom

We use Zoom for scheduling and hosting meetings and managing breakout rooms. You can also engage participants through polls, chat, and screen sharing.

Mighty Networks

You will be able to find all our resources and connect with others through the Redeemed’s new network. Not sure how to use it? Check the in-app support for help.
