When I first read Isaiah 44:22, I was humbled and overwhelmed.
“I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you.”
For everyone, including those of us who have led anything but the perfect life, God is issuing an invitation for us to return, and to be fully redeemed to the perfect being He sees in us.
In my opinion, the most amazing part of this gift is in the fact that it is not contingent on anything; our redemption is guaranteed. God is providing us with His endless grace and then opening His arms for us to return to Him.
In Isaiah 43:1–2, God lets each of us know that He has already redeemed us before we could even ask and, furthermore, that He will protect us throughout our journey.
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.”
So what are we to do with such an incredible gift? How can we spread this message and ensure that everyone understands the magnitude of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross? I believe it begins with Psalm 107:2.
“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.”

The Redeemed is a kinship that strives to provide all men a supportive, judgement-free environment where we can speak openly about the challenges we face in life. This is where we can “tell our story,” publicly or confidentially, and see that we also excel in the grace of giving.
